The focus is on using an InDesign workflow for commercial print media but these same basics would be used for a workflow leading to digital and web products as well.
You will learn how to: set up your workspace and preferences; set up documents with page sizes, margins and master pages; use tools and dialog boxes for text, image placement, vector drawing, color and styles; maintain connections with linked files; collect files to share; and options for exporting to PDF.
Through short exercises, students will build a simple project to best understand how the various functions contribute to a final product.
